    Hospice Auxiliary

    Friends of Hospice is an auxiliary of Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. The purpose of the auxiliary is to assist with fundraising projects and special events. The auxiliary is designed for those who would like to help in some way but are not required to complete any special training. Auxiliary members meet on a regular basis in order to keep updated on Hospice happenings, as well as to plan events.

    Most recently, the auxiliary members purchased a playhouse for the Generations of Life Bereavement Center. This donation makes a wonderful place for youth to retreat while utilizing the bereavement library and center.

    There are two levels of auxiliary membership. For active members participating in at least one event per year, dues are $25. Those members who would like to support Hospice and receive invitations to meetings but do not want to actively participate in events, dues are $50. These dues help to cover fundraising expenses of auxiliary-sponsored events.
