    Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to patients and caregivers. Hospice is accredited by the Joint Commission – an organization dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation.

    In January 2007, during our regular accreditation visit, we were awarded full accreditation status according to our compliance with nationally established hospice standards.

    Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County is also a member of the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. As members, we participate in quality of care initiatives and are able to utilize the quality standards of care identified for hospice organizations in our care delivery.

    Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County reports its quality measures to a national data base as required by the Medicare Conditions of Participation. Comparative data results are used to improve the delivery of patient care in our community.
